21 years of being there wouldn’t be possible without the support of countless volunteers over the years.  Honoring one of its most cherished supporters, Teen Lifeline proudly announces the Annual Jules Firetag Invitational Golf Tournament at the Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club. 

Jules was many things to many people.  He was a respected attorney, a giving volunteer having served as a past president for the Jewish Community Center JCC and Teen Lifeline, a good friend and an avid sports fan.  For Teen Lifeline, he will be remembered as the first president of our board, the presenter at our events, the comedian at our meetings and a friend to us all.  Jules Firetag was an all around champion for Teen Lifeline.  He was a leader who led with actions. He was always the first to volunteer his time, the first to challenge the “easy way out” and consistently led with integrity, honor and grace. The organization would truly not be what it is today were it not for the help and guidance from Jules Firetag.

In memory of Jules, the Firetag Invitational was created.  Remembering he also enjoyed a round or two of golf, this round will be in celebration of his dedication and hard work on behalf of Teen Lifeline.

The 19th Hole Sponsorship

Any good round of golf is usually followed by some good food and drinks with friends. Play host for the event and sponsor our awards ceremony following the round. Who knows, you might be hosting the winner of our hole-in-one competition by handing out a set of keys to a new Harley-Davidson.

As the 19th Hole sponsor, you will receive the following benefits:

Big Caddy Sponsorship

Any good player has an even better caddie calling the shots. Though we don’t have individual caddies available, we do have carts with range finders, which isn’t a bad substitution. Step up in the life of Arizona teens and lend your support by sponsoring all tournament carts during the event.

As a Big Caddie Sponsor, you will receive the following benefits:

By-the-Hole Sponsorships (12 Available)

If you can’t attend the invitational, why not sponsor your very own hole? It’s a great way to show your support without having to show off your game – and for some of us, that’s a good thing!

By-the-Cup Sponsorships

This event wouldn’t be possible without the generous donations from local businesses and individuals. We are seeking prizes for winners of the individual challenges – By the Cup - and would welcome your support through either a donated item or underwriting a prize package with a cash donation.

As a donor, you will receive:

- Your name or business name displayed with the prize and at the hole
- Firetag Invitational Golf Shirt

By-the-Cup Activities:

- Closest to the pin (2)
- Longest Drive (2) – Men’s & Women’s
- 1st place (lowest overall score)
- 2nd place (overall score)

The Players

Though primary sponsorships are wonderful, the players make it all possible. Foursomes and individuals are welcome! Cost includes green fees, Firetag Invitational Golf Shirt, lunch before and appetizers after. Show your support and tee it up in support of Arizona’s teens!

Bogie Donations

Not everyone can play golf, though most spend their life savings trying. Save a club and some frustration by making a donation in support of Teen Lifeline.

Investment:  Any amount

The funds raised from this event will enable us to continue training teen counselors, conducting community outreach and saving lives.
